Say No to Plastic. Essay

Why Should We Say No 🚫 to Plastic?

The most threatening, troubling, dangerous and hazardous problems the mankind, the earth 🌎 and the environment is facing now is plastic.

Plastic is a material that is produced from oil by a chemical process and that is used to make many objects. It is light in weight and does not break easily.

Plastic bags contain synthetic polymer - a
substance that causes harm to the environment as it is non-biodegradable.

Plastic bags when thrown after use proved to be a major threat to the environment. They
pollute the soil and effect the growth of flora and fauna and even marine life.

Today our entire country is littered with plastic bags - they choke our drains, rivers, water bodies and pollute the clean mountains, countryside, villages and cities. we really care to have SWACHH BHARAT, banning plastic bags for packaging will go a long way in achieving cleanliness and reducing pollution. Today huge landfills in
major cities are becoming insurmountable problems with no solution in sight and major component of these landfills are plastic bags. Not only will these plastic bags take hundreds of years for decay but they are also
affecting our flora and fauna. Fishes in oceans are dying as well as animals on land are equally affected all over the world.

Plastic pollution is the accumulation of plastic objects and particles (i.e.: plastic bottles, carry bags, straws, cups and saucers in the Earth's environment that adversely affects wildlife, wildlife habitat, and humans. Plastics that act as
pollutants are categorized into micro-, meso-, or macro
debris, based on size.

The government of India has also banned the use of plastic bags in many states
however the same has never been implemented properly.
But now it (the use of six kinds of single use plastics) is strictly observed from October 2nd, 2019 onwards. This is one of the (one more) best decisions of Sri NARENDRA MODI'S GOVERNMENT.
We must understand that these have been banned for our good. Every individual must take it has his responsibility to stop the use of these bags to make our environment clean
The use of plastic bags must be banned throughout the world in order to make earth a better place to live in.

Plastic pollution is damaging our environment rapidly so we must just use only eco-friendly 👭👫👬 alternatives such as paper and cloth bags.

Plastic bags are
ruining our beautiful
environment and have become a threat to
our health. It's high time we stopped using plastic bags. It's quite time we thought seriously about the bigger scenario rather than convenience of few seconds. It is not that difficult to keep cloth bag with us as we head to the market  This will go a long way in keeping our
environment clean.
