Conversation between the Women of Africa and Wangari Mathai.

Wangari Mathai: Good morning, dear woman of Africa, let's plant trees for ourselves.

Women of Africa: Good morning Mathai mam, Ok, Let's plant but we don't know how to plant trees. 

WM: Let's ask our foresters to teach us how to plant trees.

W: ut they were very complicated-they are

professionals.

WM: If so, Let's use our common sense. and just do what we do with other seeds.

W: Ok. Mam. What should we do first?

WM: Seeds of trees are like any other

seeds. There is no difference. Put the seeds even in old broken pots.

W: What should we do next , mam?

WM: They will germinate and  these are the seedlings from the seeds. Take these plastic bags please.

W: What do we have to do with the plastic bags mam?

WM: Ylou should plant these seedlings in the plastic bags

W: When they grow half a meter, we could transplant them onto the fields.

WM: Very good, now you understood how to plant trees.

W: Thank you. Mam.

WM: You're welcome.
