The outage affected users of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other apps. Microsoft has not yet said what caused the outage or when it will be fully restored.

  • Google Adds Precise Location Support to Bard Google has added precise location support to Bard, its large language model. This means that Bard can now provide more accurate answers to questions that require location information, such as "What is the weather like near me?" or "What are the best restaurants in my area?"

  • Major Reddit Communities Go Dark to Protest Threat to Third-Party Apps Major Reddit communities, including r/technology and r/gaming, went dark on June 6 in protest of a change to Reddit's terms of service that could make it more difficult for third-party apps to access Reddit data. The change has been met with widespread criticism from Reddit users and developers.
